The goal of Core Wealth is to develop and achieve our client’s financial goals from the center (the core). We believe financial goals that have a strong core are able to withstand various obstacles throughout the process of pursuing financial independence.

Mike Erickson, LPL Financial Advisor, has been assisting clients and other financial professionals since 1997. A year after Mike joined the company, he became the District Manager and held that managerial role until 2011 when he decided to step down to focus on his clients. Kelsey, Mike’s daughter, joined his practice in 2015 with the goal of implementing marketing practices and increasing the level of client service offered. In 2019, Mike partnered with Dan to form Core Wealth and they opened their own personal branch office. The focus still being to provide the highest level of customer service possible through more defined roles and a deeper level of knowledge.

 Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Becky, four children, and three grand-children. He loves the Montana State Bobcats and is very active with the events through the University. Mike is a season ticket holder for football and both men and women’s basketball. He also likes to spend his time playing golf, traveling, and volunteering in community events.

Dan Ritter, CFP®, has been assisting clients and other professionals since 2007 after serving in the United States Marine Corps for 23 years. He has a BA in Social Science from Cal State San Marcos and an MA from the University of Oklahoma in Economics. Dan received his CFP® Certification in 2015 after completing extensive training, experience requirements, and rigorous ethical standards. Well versed in the complexities of an ever-changing financial climate, Dan offers expert financial planning recommendations. In 2019, Dan partnered with Mike to form Core Wealth and they opened their own personal branch office in an effort to provide the highest level of customer service possible through more defined roles and a deeper level of knowledge.

 Dan is married to Patricia, who is a retired elementary school teacher.  They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, and shooting. Dan serves on the American Legion Post 14 Board of Directors and is also an active member of the Marine Corps League.

Kelsey Erickson started her career as an Advisor Assistant in 2014 while she was finishing up her B.A. in Business Management at Eastern Washington University. Kelsey gained experience working in Spokane and after graduation, moved back to Bozeman to work with her Dad. 

 

 Kelsey enjoys traveling to new places, being outdoors hiking and camping, paddle-boarding, golfing, gardening and watching sports. Kelsey is involved in Special Olympics and has various roles over the last 10 years. She is also a member of the Bozeman Rotaract Club, a young professional service-based club, connected to the Bozeman Sunrise Rotary Club.

Katie Ritter is the newest addition to the Core Wealth team. Katie graduated from Montana State University with a BA in Film & Photography with a background of production coordinating in the commercial film industry. She works side by side with Dan as his administrative assistant, setting appointments and organizing client events. After a busy 6 years in LA working in production, she is happy to be back in the mountains and spends her free time painting, exploring the surrounding rivers, and camping.
